Apr 14, 2015 07:34PM ● By Mb News Staff

Manhattan Beach residents can participate in The Wyland Foundation's Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation held during Earth Month (April). The competition encourages cities across the nation to see who can be the most water wise.

Residents are asked to take a series of informative, easy-to-use pledges online to conserve water, energy and other natural resources.

If Manhattan Beach has the highest percentage of participating residents take the pledge, all will be entered to win prizes that include a Toyota Prius V, home improvement gift cards, Toro Smart Irrigation Controllers, and more!

In 2012, Manhattan Beach was a winning city. Residents are encouraged to participate by
  • Going to www.mywaterpledge.com
  • Taking a 4-step conservation pledge on behalf of the city
  • Seeing the current standings for Manhattan Beach
  • Encouraging your friends to take part — share this message!
