A Burger at The Rocekfeller goes for just 99 cents on Tuesdays beginning at 5 p.m.

Manhattan Beach has become a mecca for anyone with an ear to the culinary world.

Since Chef David LeFevre and the Simms family launched Manhattan Beach Post in 200x and Entrepreneur and beer lover Mike Zislis grew his restaurant concepts from Brewco Rock'n Fish to Shade Hotel and The Strand House, Manhattan Beach has become a dining destination for foodies and the curious.

However, MB has long been a great place to snag a burger. Ercole'sThe KettleIslands, and Houston's Restaurant are just the tip of the burger iceberg, depending on your budget and where you'd like to grab a bite.

In more recent history, Simmzy's arrived in downtown Manhattan Beach, earning a ton of honors for its hamburgers.

And now, a more recent dining newcomer, The Rockefeller Gastropub has been named for having one of the top 10 best new burgers in Los Angeles by the LA Weekly. Chef Cody Diegel's American Prime Burger gets the nod for being "a purist’s burger."

Of interest, too, is the naming of now
Love and Salt Chef Michael Fiorelli's Downlow Burger creation for Mar’sel at Terranea Resort in Rancho Palos Verdes. Fiorelli helmed the restaurant before launching Love and Salt in MB.

The Rockefeller Gastropub in MB features a 99-cent hamburger every Tuesday from 5 p.m. on.
