Attend the South Bay Business Leaders Summit

The 2015 South Bay Business Leaders Summit will be held Friday, March 6 at the Manhattan Beach Marriott.

The South Bay Business Leaders Summit promises to be an exciting informative day for anyone interested in business.

Staged by the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce, the event will take place from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 6 at the Manhattan Beach Marriott, 1400 Parkview Ave., Manhattan Beach. Tickets start at $125 per person and are available online on the chamber's website.

The Summit, which offers speakers and breakout sessions, will offer attendees the opportunity to learn more on  how to enhance business strategies using communication, branding and leadership.

“It's an honor to be the chair of this year's South Bay Business Leaders Summit,” says Jill Brunkhardt, public affairs representative from Chevron. “I am really excited about the amazing group of speakers we have lined up for the day. There will be something for everyone, from small, independent business owners to those who work for large corporations. We encourage anyone looking to get ahead in today’s competitive business environment to attend. It will be a valuable experience.”

Keynote speaker, Tracy Cioffi, vice president of marketing and direct sales at See’s Candies (who was recently included on the Fortune Most Powerful Women Next Generation list), will talk about her business journey – how she’s gotten to where she is, where she has taken See’s Candies, and obstacles she’s had to overcome along the way.

Lunch speaker, Andy Cohen, co-CEO of Gensler, will speak on marketing, leadership, and business development. Confirmed breakout session speakers include Kim Salzer, general manager of Gifts.com, to speak on "Branding and Enhancing Your Brand"; Daniel Martin, senior partner at Paolucci, Salling & Martin Communication Arts, to speak 
on "Influencing Others Through Communication"; Peggy Grande, from The Quiggle Group and former personal assistant to President Ronald Reagan, to speak on "The 'Wow' Factor," and Bill Karz, vice president of digital marketing at the L.A. Tourism and Convention Board, to speak on "Digital Marketing Strategies for Success."
