Food, friends, and fun will preside at The Rockefeller Gastropub on Wednesday, Jan. 28 when Walk With Sally honors its mentors during National Mentor Month and National Thank You Month. 

For the second year, The Rockefeller is hosting the event, which is open to the public, and providing complimentary wine, beer, small bites and more from 6-7:30 p.m. Tickets are available to the general public at $25 in advance and $30 at the door.

Walk With Sally, a local non-profit that is committed to providing healing and comfort to children debilitated by the emotional experience of living with or losing a parent or sibling to cancer, holds the mixer as a way to thank those who have supported the organization and pays respect to Walk With Sally mentors.

Walk With Sally's aim is to provide healing facilitated through free of charge mentoring, support programs, and services that provide an emotionally safe environment for children to share their difficult experience with someone who has suffered the same.
