Got a photogenic pooch or a camera-ready cat? Santa will be ready to pose with your pet for one night only, at the Manhattan Village Mall on Wednesday, December 3rd from 3 to 9 p.m.

"This event is one of only two pet events Manhattan Village hosts during the year [the other event being pet photos with the Easter Bunny] and they are always a hit. We’ve had people come from all over Southern California to Manhattan Village just to have their pet photos with Santa," said Valerie James, marketing manager at the mall.

This year, everyone who purchases a Santa photo package will receive a plush toy with a candy cane, while supplies last. James says that the season is off to a very strong start and it is likely that the gifts with purchase will go quickly this year.

The pet photos will be taken at Santa's house in the center court area. Animals must be caged or on leash while in the mall.

Also at the mall, make sure to stop by the Sandpipers' Sugar Plum Tree by December 14 to send a gift to a foster child. From December 6 through 24, the Neptunian Womens' Club will be on hand at the mall with gift-wrapping services, benefiting scholarship programs.
