Manhattan Movie Night #Giveaway

Sep 08, 2014 11:55AM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Movie night is coming back to Manhattan Beach this Saturday, with a screening of  The Princess Bride - along with food trucks and live music - on September 13 at the Manhattan Beach Marriott golf course.

Following up last week's successful screening of Ferris Bueller, the movie night is being presented by the Manhattan Beach Chamber of Commerce and Street Food Cinema along with Kinecta Credit Union and the Manhattan Beach Marriott. Other sponsors include Chevron, Toyota, and UCLA.

On Saturday night, doors will open at 5:30 p.m., the band City City will play at 6:30 p.m., and the movie will start at 8:30 p.m. Food vendors on both nights will be Adam Gertler & Dog Haus, Cake Bake Shop, Coni Seafood, GROW The Produce Shop, Manhattan Beach Creamery, Marriott, and The Ripe Choice.

Seating will be on the lawn; bring blankets or beach chairs for seating. (Please note that beach chairs should not be higher than 6 inches off the ground out of courtesy for other moviegoers.) Dogs under 200 pounds are allowed.

Reserved seating tickets for the event are available for $20; general admission is $13; reserved seats for children ages 6-12 are $11; general admission for ages 6-12 is $6; and children under 5 are free. Some tickets may be available at the door if they are still available. Tickets are for a general grounds fee and entry to the event; food truck items are available for an additional cost or you may bring a picnic.
